Itinerary

Day 0: Delhi to Manali (Overnight Journey)

  • Departure: Assemble at the designated meeting point in Delhi (Saturday at 5:00 PM).
  • The Drive: Embark on an overnight journey to Manali in a semi-sleeper AC Volvo bus.
    • Stay: Overnight in transit.

Day 1: Manali to Jibhi (The Warm-up Ride)

  • Morning: Arrive in Manali, freshen up, and enjoy a warm breakfast.
  • Briefing: Formal bike assignment followed by a technical briefing on mountain riding, safety protocols, and group formation.
  • The Ride: A 3-hour introductory ride (approx. 100 km) to the scenic hamlet of Jibhi in the Tirthan Valley.
    • Stay: Riverside Guesthouse/Cottage in Jibhi.
    • Meals: Breakfast & Dinner.

Day 2: Jibhi to Sangla / Chitkul

  • The Ascent: Ride from Jibhi towards the Sangla Valley, entering the lush Kinnaur region.
  • Highlights: Traverse through the winding roads of the Sutlej River valley to reach Chitkul, the final inhabited village on the Indo-Tibet border.
  • Experience: Walk through the traditional wooden houses and visit the local Mathi Temple.
    • Stay: Hotel/Camps in Sangla or Chitkul.

Day 3: Sangla / Chitkul to Nako

  • The Transition: Witness the dramatic shift in landscape from the deep greens of Kinnaur to the stark, brown, high-altitude desert of Spiti.
  • Highlights: Ride along the treacherous cliff-hanging roads of the Hindustan-Tibet Highway. Reach the lakeside village of Nako (12,014 ft).

Day 4: Nako to Kaza via Tabo

  • The Ride: Continue through the rocky terrain of the Spiti River bed to reach Kaza, the administrative hub of the valley.

Day 5: Kaza Local High-Altitude Circuit

  • Technical Ride: A day dedicated to the world's highest villages and landmarks.

  • Experience: A short trek to the lakeside followed by an evening at the campsite under a million stars.

Day 7: Chandratal to Manali & Departure

  • Activities: Optional activities such as camel rides or local guided tours not mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Machine Damages: Any physical damage to the bike during the trip is to be borne directly by the client.
  • Unforeseen Circumstances: Additional costs arising from natural calamities (landslides, roadblocks), flight delays, or health issues must be paid on the spot by the guest.
  • Insurance: Travel insurance or any specific medical testing fees (like COVID-19 tests) are not included.
