As we keep walking alongside the Nichnai stream, we willreach our campsite in Shekdur where we will spend the night.
After early morning breakfast, we will head towards the scenic Vishansar lake. After trekking for a while, you will see a waterfall cascading from a mountain cliff and then a new stream will come into view. We will set up our camps in the open space with the Vishansar lake in the backdrop and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
The next morning, we will head towards Gadsar Pass. The blend of stunning landscapes of green meadows and crystal blue lakes make the trail a sight to behold. After trekking for a few more hours, you'll see the pristine Gadsar lake coming into view. We will spend the night here in camps in the midst of nature.
After some hot tea and breakfast, we will leave the campsite tohead towards our next stop Satsar camp which is nestled at 12,000ft. After traversing through terrains with majestic mountains, you will soon see a ridge, beyond which lies the 3rd line of defense from the LOC as well as the Satsar Army camp. We will be camping a few meters away from here.
The next day, the trail which you'll be trekking through is full of surprises, with countless ridges and nameless lakes. After traversing through all of them, you will finally reach the biggest lake among them all which is Gangabal with Nundkol just by its side. We will spend the night at Nundkol after having dinner.
Post breakfast, we will start our descent from the Gangabal campsite and you will see green canopies lining the trail with traces of civilization. The meadows give way to wooden huts and Naranag slowly comes in sight at around 8500ft giving way to Naranag road.
