Prashar Lake trek

Amongst the scenic and spiritual valleys of Himachal Pradesh lies the mystical Prashar Lake. Located near Mandi, the lake is a sacred destination nestled between soaring, snowbound mountains of the Dhauladhar Ranges of Kullu. The three storied temple stands tall on the banks. This thirteenth-century old pagoda is in honour of the Rishi, Prashar. The lake holds mythological importance that dates back to the era of Pandavas.

Tour Itinerary

Day 0 - Drive from Delhi to Baggi Via Mandi ( Overnight Journey )

  • The group assembles at the pick-up point at 7 PM.
  • Meet the team captains and a small tour briefing session would also be provided.
  • Afterward, we’ll head out for an overnight journey to Baggi.

Note: The pickup point will be Majnu Ka Tila Bus Stand.

Day 1 - Trek to Prashar Lake Base Camp (7 Kilometers, 5 Hours)

  • Reach Baggi early in the morning , make a pit stop for breakfast.
  • Afterward,start our trek to Prashar Lake Base camp. The trek offers majestic views of the Dhauladhar, Pir Panjal Camp Kinnaur mountain ranges. En route, have a packed Lunch.
  • We’ll check into our campsite and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Dinner will be served in the evening followed by an overnight stay in the camps

Day 2 - Trek to Prashar Lake | Back to Baggi

  • After early morning breakfast, we’ll head to Prashar Lake which is renowned for the floating island that revolves in it.
  • We’ll also visit the Prashar Rishi Temple which is in the vicinity of the lake.
  • After spending some peaceful moments at the lakeside, descend to Baggi.
  • In the evening, board a bus for an overnight journey to Delhi.
  • We will reach Delhi early morning. The group will part ways with lots of trip memories. Trip Ends.

  • 50% of the total amount will be given as refund for cancellation made 30 days before the start of the trip.
  • 25% of the total amount will be given as refund for cancellation made 15-30 days before the start of the trip.
  • No refund will be given for cancellation made 0-15 days before the start of the trip.
  • 100% refund will be given if trip is cancelled by the operator
