Itinerary

Day 1: The High-Altitude Reset

Your journey begins the moment you touch down at Leh Airport. Our team will receive you and transfer you to your hotel.

  • The Golden Rule: Day 1 is strictly for acclimatization. At 11,500 ft, your body needs rest to adapt to the thin air.
  • Stay: Leh Hotel.
  • Meals: Dinner.

Day 2: Sham Valley—The Land of Illusions

After breakfast, we take a 45 km drive to explore the cultural and spiritual nerve centers of the region.

  • Hall of Fame: A poignant tribute to the heroes of the Indian Army.
  • Magnetic Hill: Witness your vehicle defy gravity on this legendary slope.
  • Sangam Point: The breathtaking sight where the emerald Indus meets the muddy Zanskar.
  • Gurudwara Pathar Sahib: A serene stop maintained by the Army.

Day 3: Crossing the Giant—Khardung La to Nubra

Today, we scale one of the highest motorable roads in the world.

  • The Summit: Reach Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft) for a mandatory photo-op at the top of the world.
  • The Descent: Move into the Nubra Valley, a cold desert that looks like another planet.
  • Highlights: Visit the 32-meter Maitreya Buddha statue at Diskit Monastery and ride double-humped camels at the Hunder Sand Dunes.

Day 4: Turtuk—The Village That Changed Nations

This is the soul of our trip. We drive 90 km to Turtuk, a village that was under Pakistani control until 1971.

  • The Culture: Immerse yourself in the unique Balti culture and walk through lush apricot orchards.
  • The Vibe: Interacting with the locals feels like stepping across the border—it is a predominantly Muslim village with a heart-warming hospitality.

Day 5: The Shyok River Dash to Pangong

We bypass the traditional route and take the adventurous Shyok River road.

  • The Destination: Arrive at Pangong Lake (14,270 ft), the world's highest saltwater lake that stretches all the way into Tibet.
  • The Magic: Spend the evening watching the water change from turquoise to deep indigo as the sun set.

Day 6: Chang La Conquest & The Return

Start early to catch the sunrise over Pangong.

  • The Pass: Cross Chang La (17,590 ft), the third-highest pass in the world.
  • Bonus Stops: On the way back to Leh, we visit the "Rancho School" (from 3 Idiots) and the magnificent Thiksey Monastery.

Day 7: Departure:

Wake up in the morning, have breakfast. Checkout and departure from Leh to your desired destination with loads of memories.
