Itinerary

 

Day 0: Departure from Delhi

  • Gather at Kashmere Gate Metro Station at 10:00 PM.
  • Board the AC Volvo/Tempo Traveller for an overnight journey to Dharamshala.

Day 1: Reach McLeod Ganj & Local Exploration

  • Arrive in McLeod Ganj in the morning and check into your hotel/camp.
  • Visit the Dalai Lama Temple, St. John in the Wilderness Church, and Bhagsunag Waterfall.
  • Evening free for shopping at the local Tibetan market and cafe hopping.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in McLeod Ganj.

Day 2: The Trek to Triund

  • Post breakfast, start the 9 km trek to Triund from Dharamkot.
  • Pass through mixed forests of oak, deodar, and rhododendron.
  • Reach the Triund Ridge by late afternoon. Witness the Dhauladhar peaks glowing at sunset.
  • Enjoy a bonfire, dinner, and camping at Triund.

Day 3: Descent & Departure

  • Wake up for a breathtaking sunrise over the Kangra Valley.
  • After breakfast, descend back to McLeod Ganj.
  • Visit any missed local spots or relax at Shiva Cafe.
  • Board the evening bus for your return journey to Delhi.
