Itinerary

Day 0: Departure from Delhi/Chandigarh

  • Assemble at the designated pickup point (Kashmere Gate/Majnu Ka Tila) by 08:00 PM.
  • Begin the overnight journey toward the gateway of Kinnaur via the scenic NH-5.

Day 1: Reach Tapri/Yulla Village & Acclimatization

  • Reach Tapri in the morning and transfer to the picturesque Yulla Village.
  • Check into your homestay/campsite and spend the day acclimatizing to the altitude.
  • Take a village walk to interact with the Jadh Bhotia community and see the ancient wooden temples.
  • Evening bonfire and briefing about the trek. Overnight stay in Yulla Village/Tapri.

Day 2: Trek to Yulla Kanda Holy Lake

  • After an early breakfast, start the 7-8 km trek toward Yulla Kanda.
  • The trail passes through dense forests of oak and pine before opening into vast alpine meadows (Bugyals).
  • Reach the Holy Lake by afternoon. Visit the Krishna Temple and witness the 360-degree views of the Kinnaur mountains.
  • Enjoy a peaceful evening by the lake. Overnight stay in Alpine Tents at the base of the lake.

Day 3: Descent & Departure for Delhi

  • Witness a majestic Himalayan sunrise over the peaks and have breakfast.
  • Start your descent back to Yulla Village, enjoying the downhill views of the Satluj River valley.
  • Board the vehicle from Tapri/Yulla for the return journey.
  • Travel overnight to reach Delhi by early next morning (Day 4).
